WordPress Plugin Repository now active

WordPress bloggers who have the system requirements and technical know-how to install and manage plugins will be happy to know there’s now an official WordPress Plugin Repository. The site’s powered by open source software called Trac, version 0.8, developed by a Swedish company called Edgewall Software Services. Trac is described as “an enhanced wiki and issue tracking system, integrated with Subversion, for software development projects.”
